I made an enquiry late Thursday evening and Adam got everything arranged for a part exchange of my car and collection of the new car by Saturday morning! I was travelling all the way from Essex so Adam made sure he gave me loads of “honest” footage of the car before I made the 3 hour commute up to Birmingham so I was fully in the loop of the condition of the car before I even arrived. He even went to the effort of sorting my private plate retention out for me and kept me posted the whole way through.

Top guy and top service, will certainly be coming back when it’s time for an upgrade.

Having worked in the auto trade for almost 30 years, my general expectations of buying a car from a used car trader weren’t too high. United Traders completely blew this up.
We were looked after by Adam, one of the owners and he was terrific. The car we chose had a couple of faults and, without us asking, these were recorded on the purchase documents. An allowance was made for the tyre pressure monitors to be coded by a local tyre company, but it turned out that the total cost would be more than the allowance. A quick call to Adam and the additional money was paid into our account within hours.
The other fault proved a bit more difficult to remedy (even the local Ford dealer in Wales hadn’t thought of the final remedy). We took the car back to Adam, it was fixed and brought back to us in Wales.
Honesty and integrity are not usually associated with used car traders, but I would use these words about United Traders. Our experience was that phone calls were returned, whatsapp messages received answers, we were looked after very well and treated completely fairly.
I would go back to Adam at United Traders for another used car, and would recommend others to go there too without any hesitation.

I bought a 2011 ford KA from adam and his team a few weeks ago, Really great guys with a nice dealership, Only problem I had is when the car was dropped at my house there was no Oil in the engine which could of caused signifcate damage if I hadnt checked it.

When adam called to check on me and the car I explained this to him and he was very quick to rectify this picking the car up early the next day giving it another full service and check over and putting a full tank of fuel in there for me!

They also took a dent out of the car door for much less than what it normaly costs to get this sort of work done which was nice of them.

Overall happy with the service bar the Oil problem but mistakes happen. Really trust worthy guys who know there stuff about cars thanks for such a easy process for buying my first car!

My son bought his first car from them, a Ford KA Metal edition. Lovely people to be honest car was 12 years old so not in the best condition, We were told the car had been serviced, had the car delivered to us, a really nice touch, checked the oil, bone dry which puts doubts in my mind. They did contact my son to see how he was getting on, advised that the engine arrived with no oil in. They re-picked the car up for free and fully serviced it again and was back on the drive the same day. So all I can say is that they are a tremendous bunch of guys, who will go the extra mile for you if you buy a car from them. Thank you again.

Worked on my car after I had a negative experience with another remapper with my car not starting and then going into limp mode. Was convinced by the other remapper that my car was faulty or other modifications I had done were the root cause of the fault with no refund in sight with the possibility of having to buy a new ECU due to the shambles of work the previous guy had done as my Diagnostic tool would not read my car. Luckily I had been recommended these guys and they had delivered an exceptional service from start to finish. Honestly, would recommend them to everyone that needs some deletes or a remap. One of the hardest things to buy is a used car, mainly because of cost, and secondly what is the experience going to be like. Approaching a used car dealer used to be fraught with anxiety but from the moment we entered the car park we were made to feel relaxed and valued as a potential customer.
I’d called ahead and made an appointment so we were expected, with our choice of car already waiting. We were greeted with a smile and guided easily around the grounds to make us feel at home. We took a test drive with one of the staff to help us navigate around an unfamiliar area and once back discussed how we would proceed. We decided to go ahead with purchasing the vehicle which included a part exchange.
I can honestly say that every step of the way was made easy with clear guidance as to what to expect, (I haven’t changed my vehicle for 12 years) and on the day of purchase were once again met with such courtesy and amiability that made us feel that this family run business would really value every customer or potential customer who passed through the gates. They seem to have found the ideal balance of running a business and making their customers happy.
Our new car was clean, serviced and ready to go and every staff member we met greeted us with a friendly smile.

Wanted to give a special shout out to Abu (& Adam) for their stellar service towards my dad when he purchased a SEAT Arona from them a couple of weeks ago. They were patient and kind with him, taking the time to answer all his numerous queries about the car. Abu delivered the car to my parents’s home and even took my dad for a spin around the block teaching him how to drive an automatic as my dad was feeling apprehensive having only ever driven a manual. That kind of service is going above and beyond. I had a good feeling about them when i met them in our first encounter – it is a family business, run by decent young lads who are honest, hardworking and unfailingly accomodating. I usually only feel compelled to write online reviews when a service is exceedingly bad or good, and im pleased to say United Traders in Haymills is definitely the latter.
